The problem:
Most orphanages in Zanzibar receive no government support.
No funding for food.
No money for school materials.
And often, no one who simply has time to be there.
What matters to us:
We also offer health and environmental education, adapted to their age – teaching hygiene, handwashing, and simple ways to care for their surroundings.
That’s where we come in:
Thanks to donations, we regularly support selected orphanages with food, hygiene products, and school supplies – so children can grow up with the essentials they need.
But what they need just as much is love, attention, and a sense of safety. That's why we visit, we play, we listen – and just spend time.
In the future, we’d love to bring in more:
- Basic English lessons, to support their school journey
- Creative activities like painting, music or games – because expression matters too
